Cancer is derived from the word cancrum which implies crablike claws.
Unusual and uncontrolled growth of cells which require removal.
The majority of oral cancers involve the tongue, oropharynx, and floor of the mouth. The lips, gingiva, tongue,palate and bone .

History of cancer in family

Age related:which may reflect time for the accumulation of genetic changes and duration of exposure to chemical and physical irritants, viruses, hormonal effects), cellular aging, and decreased immunologic surveillance with aging.
HOW TO AVOID CANCER
Avoiding smoking,alcohol and tobacco
Leading a healthy lifestyle,taking care of the eating habits
Using sunscreen to avoid harmful uv radiations.
Regular screening and checkups for the same.
TREATMENT:
Removal of the affected tissue which includes surgery ,chemotherapy or radiation depending upon the extent of the disease.
